Most of our March was spent in America in San Diego, Hawai’i Island, Maui and San Francisco where we were able to add quite a few more American birds to our world list – such as it is. We only managed two other outings in the UK, the first a briding group day out at Moore Nature Reserve 30 March 2018 and a solo day out at Burton Mere Wetlands and Neston Old Quay 30 March 2018 so a bit of a quiet month for us in Britain. We did have the pleasure of seeing our first Blackcap of the year in the garden on the 24th.
