Covid is back with a vengeance and putting us off going any where indoors. Outdoors it has been quite wet. We only managed the last birding group outing of the year to Marbury Park on the 14th December where we got good views of our frst Redwings of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Apart from that our birding has been restricted to the garden where at least some birds are, at last, returning. Anne saw a couple of Blackcaps on the 21st and we have got a few Goldfinch and House Sparrows coming back. There is a Blackbird, a Robin and a few Tits and a small number of Starlings. Unfortunately the Feral Pigeons and Wood Pigeons are back again and hoover up pretty much all of the food we put on the ground; other birds have to be very alert.
