This was our last day at the cottage before heading homewards so we decided to have a last look at Titchwell RSPB where we, at last, managed to get a year tick Little Gull. After that we went to the beach at Hunstantion and then returned home to pack our bags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The Little Tern was the only new bird for the year that we saw at Titchwell but it was a lovely, sunnny morning with very little wind. All the usual birds were there and one of the Little Gulls was still showing well. A flock of Common Gulls was a holiday first and we got three Spoonbills and both Little Ringed and Ringed Plovers. We aslso got a couple of Common Sandpipers so it was a very pleasing visit to round off our Norfolk holiday. A brief walk on the beach at Hunstanton Cliffs gave us a last view of the small Fulmar Colony and back at Thornham we heard our last Norfolk Cuckoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n
