The initial research that I commissioned from the Scots Ancestry Research Society started with a first report into my paternal ancestry :

An exchange of letters followed this which added some clarification

I then commissioned some Additional Research into the Paternal Ancestry of William Neil

• 1c Additional Research.

I then turned to my maternal line and commissioned :

• 2. Research into the Paternal Ancestry of Margaret Cunningham Ramsay.

This also needed some clarification and this led to further research documented in :

• 2a. A letter and response clarifying issues relating to the previous report.
